Like others, I have been wondering whether R. Kelly will do a gospel album. Many of you know that he wrote "I Believe I Can Fly" (which was adopted by a lot of our young teens as a Biblically based song of hope and freedom). Kelly, who tries to include at least one gospel song on his "bump and grind" records, has written "God's Grace" for Trinitee 5:7, as well songs for Kirk Franklin's projects. He says he's not ready to do a full gospel project because, "I can't sing gospel unless I'm all the way with the Lord."

What do you think about this double dipping? Can artists successfully combine a secular music career and a faith that includes ministering in gospel music? Let us know what ya think. Be Blessed.

Rating: **** - chart burner, pick it up; *** - quality production, good style mix; ** - poor production quality
